Newbie in Madison, WI

Hello!

My name is Mark, and my husband and I have just signed up for our OW class. We have been on one dive so far (beginner dive in St Thomas, 2017), and LOVED it. We are going on a cruise this April, and are kicking ourselves for not having obtained our certs sooner. We bought an excursion to do another beginner dive in Aruba - we purchased it before we made the decision to take the OW course.

In any case, we are hoping to be fully certified by end of May, when we do our 4 OW dives/checks. Wondering if there are any other WI divers around who may be interested in diving together later this year?

@Chanly83 cool my best friends live in Janesville, though they don't dive. We should dive together sometime! do you dive locally at all? I am not sure yet where the checkouts are going to be. I will find out this weekend though!

@Diving_is_a_passion thanks! I grew up in Chicago, and get down there a few times a year! love to hit up the lake with you sometime! what area of chicaco are you in?

@though13 we should. I just did my OW in sept and I have dove Pearl Lake, Wazee, Lake Geneva, Cozumel and the Cancun area. I have been meaning to take a trip over to diversion.
