Glad to see you are excited about the sport, and I hope things go well for you. They don't always, but the problems are great learning experiences; just make sure you survive them all.

For your first 20 or so dives, you might want to ensure that every charter you book with will be one that puts a Dive Master in the water with the divers. Costs more, but worth it for newbies. Then, make sure the DM knows you're a newbie.
