Hey, all you Ky Divers , I am looking for a couple of good steel tanks for Recreational use. They will probably only get used a 10-12 time a year any suggestions. I'm in the Lex area and tried Ebay but man shipping is the Killer. Would also like to get to know where you all dive locally. So far I have dove Joes quarry and Mermet Springs in Southern Ill. Thanks for helping out.

You may want to try the Louisville Dive Center. I know they got a few steel 80s in a couple months ago for rental and I think they ordered some for selling too. Here's the web page: http://www.louisvillescubadive.com/

Hey, you can't beat a Faber 95. More than one dive to the tank. Call Tommy at Central Coast Dive Center in Edgewood and he'll set you up. 859-426-0020

Welcome aboard TNT.

In western Kentucky, Cerulean is a nice quarry to dive. The best part about that quarry is that its a constant temperature. It was 77 degrees at 35 feet in October.

Dale Hollow Lake on the KY/TN border is a very neat place to dive. Need to own or rent a boat to get to the dive spots though. Very clear water, millions of onyx geodes to collect, and lots of fish. Essential to carry a dive knife or scissors though, lots of fishing line strewn around.

Oh, yeah, by the way... Welcome. No one's mentioned Blue Springs in Indiana yet. I dove there a few times this past summer. It's cold water, but it's got some cool stuff. All of these places have web pages, though... except Joe's.
