Hi everyone. Got a question here. Finally rented a tank to test out my reg. However, when I turned it on, the SPG only registered 2400 psi. Was I shorted or do I need to have my SPG checked out? FYI, I got it from LP so no flames please... :D Thanks for the help, y'all.

your SPG reading on the tank with your buddies SPG reading on the tank? Hard to tell otherwise. Although in the heat of the summer many tanks are a bit "short" on fills. If in doubt, have it checked though. A SPG that is not accurate is not something you want to dive with until fixed.

The SPG is most likely fine.
As to if you were shorted, it depends of what sort of tank it is.
