new wrist strap for Uwatec Pro Ultra

Scubapro has finally done something about those horrible wrist straps that they attached to their wrist mounted version of the Uwatec Pro Ultra. The new model uses an elastic band instead of rigid rubber. I haven't decided if I like it, but it is an option for those peopel who are going from console mount to wrist. Incidently, the retrofit costs $40!

I have the Aladin Pro and the all-rubber wrist band snapped on me nearly a year ago. Are the two wrist bands similar? Good thing I always secure mine with a separate band or I might have lost my wrist-mounted computer.

Do these new bands fit the Aladin Pro as well?

Hey I ordered the Pro Ultra from LP back in September and it arrived with the elastic band. It fits quite well, it's comfortable and stays very secure.
