Heya! We're in Hancock (near Peterborough) so quite close to you. The whole drysuit thing sounds intriguing, but I suspect deep down I'm a warm water wussie. I've got a neighbor who dives Winnepesaukee and other lakes and says they love it.

As much as I love NH (I moved here 11 years ago from Gulf coast Texas), it's a great place to get out of in the middle of the winter and head somewhere sandy and sunny for a week.

Welcome to the Crazy world of scuba diving from Texas! It's nice to see you on Scubaboard. If you ever need any advice or help, we're here for you.

Mstevens,
I'm also mainly a vacation diver. My wife and daughter have no interest in lake diving. My wife was born and raised on Cape Cod and will dive there but my daughter is way less interested.
