Yep, but remember that the coupling is a part of the inflator body itself (ie: you can't just add it to the hose and stick an old inflator on). As long as what you have is a Bx inflator, note the threaded end on the inflator, you can order p/n 342-7234-AA for the coupler and p/n 342-7236-VH for the pin if you don't have one.

Perfect. I have a BX inflator, I just can't install it without the coupling. What pin would I be missing? Is there an exploded view of the inflator somewhere I can download? Also, where would I place that order? I've been looking around on Zeagleexpress, but I'm not sure where to order a specific p/n from. Does Zeagle have a direct order line, or will that have to go through a local dealer?

Thanks.

I have an old Ranger with the exact same Scubapro inflator on it. In fact it was on it when I bought it new Years ago... I have had no issues with it for the years I used it, so no worries on that account. I later purchased a new Zeagle inflator and it came with the hose attachment, the pin for the shoulder dump, and the inflator for $39.99. It's been a great BCD and you will get many years of service out of it!

Ok, that makes sense. I had assumed it had something to do with the dump valve. I didn't know Zeagle ever sold the Ranger with the SP inflator, that's interesting. I'd assumed the previous owner had done this. Thanks for the info. I love the BC, I just want to have the BX inflator I scored put on.

No no, we've never put another manufacturer's inflator (excluding the Apeks Octo+ years ago, but that's a different story) on our products, but you'll see dive shops do that from time to time if they favor one brand over another. You can give that part number to any Zeagle dealer and they can order it for you, I'm afraid we can't do orders direct with consumers. "Zeagle Express" is another dealer local to Zephyrhills FL, that's not dealing direct with the factory FYI.

I'll see if I can grab a schematic of a Bx inflator and upload that here.

There we go, one PDF for ya. Its ripped out of the price list from years past, just ignore the hyperlink and comments at the bottom. I just checked with the girls in Assembly, you should be ok just ordering the coupler by itself. They leave the pin taped to it, so as long as it doesn't fall off somewhere between us and your dive shop you should be ok ordering just the Bx coupler.

Hmm interesting to hear that it was the LDS that replaced the inflator... It certainly is that exact same inflator the OP posted a picture of. Anyways, I have tons of Zeagle gear in including regulators, BCDs, and more, I love I and it is some of the best gear I have used over the years I have been diving. Very pleased with all of it!
