Suggestion New Sub-Forum for Asia - Maldives

I would like to propose a dedicated Madives sub forum in - Travel and Dive Clubs - Asia

* Is it necessary, isn't this subject already covered by another forum?
YES its necessary, there is some discussion in General Asia, given the popularity of subjects containing the word 'Maldives' and the top 10 status of Maldives on the world dive map - I propose this new sub forum with the sub title - Maldives 26 Atolls, 1192 Islands, Dive the land of the Blue Lagoons

* Is it to be a private forum? If so, for which group? Any specific access restrictions (ie read-only etc.)?
No, a public forum.

Given the diverse number of atolls and resorts in the Maldives...plus the number of specific enquiries that are posted about them, this seems like a good idea.

And why not ! Asia is a big place, and splitting special places out of the "General Asia" forum into individual country forums is a good idea, with the Maldives so I'm told having excellent diving.

Would love to see sub-group dedicated to Maldives. There is a ton of information on the Maldives throughout scubaboard postings and it would be nice to have them consolidated.

Yes, I agree. Maldives is about as far flung a destination as you can get for Yanks. It should be easy to find information on Maldives.
