... and that is where in the menus, exactly - I'm not seeing this anywhere on my Perdix AI?In the same place you select the Mini displays. There's a Setup option.
This is with mine set to Rec Mode (but I assume it should be the same in Tec Mode):... and that is where in the menus, exactly - I'm not seeing this anywhere on my Perdix AI?
Thanks - I guess I had not clicked through the choices far enough. I do see them now - thanks for the response! This is with mine set to Rec Mode (but I assume it should be the same in Tec Mode):

I had a similar problem when I tried to do the update with my Android smartphone. I connected my Teric to my desktop computer and used the desktop Shearwater cloud application to perform the update instead and that worked. I tried the phone like 3-4x with the same result.I am having trouble with the update. I would appreciate any advice.
Perdix nor Teric will link to laptop.
Both link to my android phone but keep timing out on the update. It starts and keeps failing.
This morning on the Perdix, it was finally running and with one minute left I got a Rx buffer overflow error.
Any suggestions?

It could be. Honestly, I didn't even try to troubleshoot it (Galaxy S20+ 5G). I was already sitting at my computer so I just tried it a couple more times, restarted the Teric, etc. and then just updated it with my PC.My guess for both of you would be that it's an issue with the Bluetooth implementation on your phone/laptop. I updated my NERD2 and both my Terics using my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 20). All worked flawlessly on the first try.
Then I updated the splash graphic on my NERD2. I had to use the Shearwater Cloud from my laptop, since the Shearwater mobile app doesn't support that. I used my Dell XPS15 with its built-in Bluetooth (running Windows 10). It also worked flawlessly.
@Merlyne you said your laptop won't work. Are you using built-in Bluetooth, or the Bluetooth dongle that Shearwater provides (at least, with some devices)? If you are using built-in, you might try disabling it (via Windows Control Panel, presuming you're using Windows) plugging in the Shearwater Bluetooth dongle, and using that. If you don't have a Shearwater one, email them. They'll probably send you one for free.
If you're using something other than Windows, that could also be your problem. Apple is notorious for Bluetooth issues. And if you're using Linux or something else, well, good luck!
