New reef off of Venice FL

I think it's a mitigation reef. When they cover up x acres of reef with a sand renourishment project, they create an artificial mitigation reef of x acres. Then everything is considered even.

The city will build three 2.5-acre reefs over 7.3 acres in 12- 14 feet of water after the renourishment​

is completed



They did one off of Dania after the sand renourishment. It's big boulders, scattered on the bottom.
