Ok, I am nto really new to diving, but I haven't been in a while (abotu 6 years or so) I got certified in High School w/ some friends and used to dive w/ my mom and dad. Stoped diving when I went in the Air Force, and then most of my gear got stolen. (which sucks). I want to get back into diving and I am in the WPB, Fl area, so I am in a good spot for getting back into it :). Well thats it for now

Welcome back! Even after a 6-7 year gap I'd suggest a refresher course, if you haven't already done so. It's the little things that can make the difference between a really great experience and a near (or worse) brush with disaster. Voice of experience speaking. Real bummer having some lowlife rip off your gear: maybe they'll try it w/o the training, he-he-he! Enjoy

Yeah I have been checking around and there is a couple of places that offer refresher courses most cost around $50 and take around an hour or so (depending on how much you remember). As for the gear, yeah it suxs but he got caught and is now a a resident of the state :) but they were never able to recover the gear :( . On the other hand most of my gear was 2nd hand old dive shop rental equipment, nothing wrong with it but the dive shop upgraded their gear and sold off all the old stuff so I got some good deals w/ it.
