Hello Everyone, I guess by some standards, I would be considered an "Old Timer". I was originally certified way back in 72.( That was back in the days when BCD meant "blackboard communication device", and May West was one of the original California settlers.)

But in spite of being certified that many years ago, I actually have logged only about 60 dives: about 30 in fresh water, and the latter in Cozumel in the past two years.

I love Cozumel, and wouldn't hessitate to return there, but I would love to dive other Caribean sites as well, such as" Turk and Cacios."

I love diving deep,(hence the name Narc-nut), but just love diving.

Take Me, I'm Yours!

Hi NN, and welcome to SB, so did you know W.C. Fields too? :D
Have to agree diving Cozumel and the Carribean is fantastic. If you fill out your profile we can also get to know you better. Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the board!

I remember the May West life vest. Did you use that diving, or a horse collar then?

A few suggestions I do like to offer every new member. First, it's good to keep your Profile with location and Dive Info with number of dives up to date so other members can address any questions appropriately; edit these as possibly needed from your UserCP above or the Quick Links above.

And don't be shy about posting. Click Forums above, tour the long list of choices, and jump in anywhere you're qualified. PM me with any questions, and I'll try to find a pretty good answer.

Welcome to the board. I heard You all use to use fire extinguisher as a tank and an old rubber hose with a shut off valve as a regulator....................I bet you are glad the invented BCDs and Regulators..........
