New member... SoCal girl booked for the Caymans

Hi everybody! Glad I found the site. I look forward to perusing and possibly making some diving friends.

I'm booked for the Cayman Islands and am very excited - I've wanted to do this diving trip for years. I'll be there Nov. 5-13. Anyone there want to dive or snorkel sometime, please let me know!

Thank you all very much for your welcoming notes. I've checked out the Cayman thread and got some great info. @USCScubaboy: It'd be great to do some local diving before going, but I won't be able to fit any in this weekend and I leave next weekend (woo hoo!). As for after I return, I still need to get cold water trained, which is something I've been meaning to do.

Hi Amy! I was on Grand Cayman in April. The diving is fantastic. That was my first warm water destination. I certified at Catalina Island. If you want to do some California diving a group of us go over to Catalina on a regular basis. Send me a message when you get back. Hope you have a blast on your trip!!!
