Finally decided to join the "board" after visiting numerous times past year. This a great source of information and I'm looking forward to participating in the forums as time permits.

Been an on-again, off-again diver for past 25 years, but looking to jump start my diving this year. Looking at some new equipment and planning a trip with my wife to Bay Islands in April or May. It will be our first extended dive trip (week or more) in 11 years. Can't wait. Picked up some good tips in regards to equipment & destinations (Roatanman seems to be the Bay Island expert).

As a Chicago-area diver I would like to "re-discover" Great Lakes diving this summer. Haven't dove locally since I was spoiled by my first warm/salt water dive in 1986. (Blackbeards). Have been to quite a few places over the years but so many more to dive! Micronesia, Fiji, Tahiti, Galapagos, PNG among the tops on the wish list.

Thanks to all for the greetings. I'm sure I'll visit on a regular basis as the SB seems to be source of information and entertainment. As suggested by Murph I'll also be keeping an eye on Great Lakes dive group. But first . . . finalizing our trip to Bay Islands this May.
