We ended up choosing Indonesia on the Damai I. Then we booked the Philippine Siren for 2027 with a week at Crystal Blue Resort Anilao after.

That's an awesome couple years of diving

Anywhere except Phuket is a good decision for diving unless with different agenda. LOL.

You likely have already heard this - the Damai I is one of the nicest liveaboards in Indonesia. Very comfortable, great crew, very good food. Several of rhe investors that funded building the boat (and its sister ship, the Damai II) are very serious underwater photographers - the boat is designed really well for supporting divers who shoot u/w.
