Any chance of a MacDive iPhone app? Or perhaps a relationship with Dive Log ? Wi-Fi syncing between MacDive and Dive Log would be so unbelievably cool. Perhaps you guys could work out a revenue-sharing agreement

How would I go about adding another library to MacDive? I would like to keep one for myself and one for a friend. I do not want hers and mine combined though! Thank you!

Well you could enable fast-user switching, and just use another account. Then you can swap over and fire it up.

Otherwise, you could rename the database before you start the app, though unless you want to wrap that up in an automator action or some such, it could get tedious renaming two files each time.

Finally, you could just add them all to the same one and filter based on name or whatever.

I'll look at adding some kind of "Diver" drop down or filter to do this in the next release, as it's a pretty common request.

I keep promising I'll work on it at some point, I just haven't had time. DiveLog will read your macdive files now, there's just no ability to sync the data back. It will come at some point..

I have used MacDive for a couple of months now and have the following requests:

I wish it would import the rest of the dives from my Sensus Ultra.
I wish it would remember when dives are combined and not re-import the same dive as Unknown forever after.
I wish there were an iPhone App that it would sync with.
I wish that equipment could be grouped so you don't have the add each piece of equipment to each dive.

Otherwise, I like it and intend to continue using it. Keep up the good work!

Actually, I looked at that several months back. It looks like an good solution...on a PC. I didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling that it would work on a Mac. To me, one way synchronization is just overwriting and is of little use. Depending on third parties to make your software "Mac Compatible" is not that great either. They both just point at the other party when problems arise.
