Is the cannister PVC or Delrin? I think delrin is the material of choice for most serious can light users... PVC scratches too easy and many feel it doesn't have the durability of delrin.
 
I'd be a whole lot more worried about Lucas (the film folks) with "Light Sabre" than Green Force! :D
 
True about Lucas, maybe need to change that huh.

The canister is PVC, and yes delrin is more durable than PVC, dimensional stable. But delrin is also more expensive than PVC. PVC pipe can withstand over 400 psi, which equates to 900 FSW or so. Scratches? Delrin is slippery compared to PVC so clamps need to 'dig' into the delrin and not so much in PVC. To keep cost down, PVC is used and not delrin. Thanks..
