This floated by me on the hang bar today offshore NC. I would say it was close to a foot across. Maybe a tad bigger or smaller, hard to tell. Part of it reminded me of a moon jelly but the moons I saw in the Keys had a definite pink cast. So is it some type of jelly creature that is new to me or is this a damaged jelly of some type?
