Just finished up my Naui scuba diver certification. Loved it. Looking at getting my own gear. Is this the best place to ask for suggestions about products?

Congrats on your certification. Can't offer any real advice on gear but just want to tell you that you have AWESOME diving in your backyard. The Wilmington diving is great. Will be down in Southport in a few weeks and will dive out of Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach a few times. Diving the Hyde and being just feet from the huge sandtiger sharks is a blast. Did it last year with my newly certified 14 and 12 year old kids and they loved it and can't wait to go again. Keep diving and enjoy yourself.
