I was intrigued at first, but now I'm getting sceptical. That's a lot of vague language. I don't know if it reminds me more of politicians or telemarketers. If you want to make something open-source, contribute to Subsurface, or invite someone to collaborate on a repository you have started. Share some ideas and show what you have built. This is starting to smell fishy...:)

It's sad to see so much pessimism in the community because I asked divers to give me their feedback, and then I will use my software developer skills for smth else. To me, a product that is not consumer-oriented is **** bc will have a lot of missing features that are indeed a need for the users.

Thanks to everyone who submitted feedback, I made the results public so that everyone can see the diver's pain points/challenges today when logging dives.
