I just wanted to share the news that my mate who got certified last weekend, and is now up here in Seattle visiting and diving with me, is now hooked on DIR. He bought a single tank set up, BP/W, harness and Mk25/S600 all DIR'd out.

He loves so far and he said IT MAKES SENSE!! Now he just wants to dive in trim and get better and learn skills. I think he might be prime for Primer and eventually Fundies and beyond!

Kool-Aid FTW :D

Glad to hear you had some success "reaching out" as it were. I always like to hear the success stories. I don't proselytize or preach, but I just let the skills and performance in the water speak for itself. I usually always have people or students asking me questions, and I don't have to "preach" at all.
