So does removing apple from the equation. 2+ days with my galaxy watch. Wife's crapple has to go on the charger every night.I have an Apple Watch. Removing a lot of apps you don’t need does help.
But it's apple so the hoardes will flock to it like millennial hipsters to flannel and mustache wax.I'd be tempted but with a 40m max dive depth and meh battery life its a hard sell for $800 for me.
Do you have additional information, could not find anything? What is the deco algorithm? I would suspect DSAT an/or PZ+ with Oceanic/Huish. I'm assuming it has all standard features.Good to 40 m / 130 ft. $800 and includes a cellular radio.
Man, I thought I was never going to get a smart watch, but if it's actually a good dive computer I think I would have to get one.
Looks like the software is by Oceanic. Picture from Apple via Macrumors.

I like this take. Personally the Apple Watch seems like a win for athletes, but the battery is really a limiting factor for scuba or adventure sports. I'd take it more seriously as an option if it could last a weekend without using battery saver, but for the price its hard to pick it over something I could do a dozen dives with without having battery anxiety. I do see how it could scare the competition as it would be a serious threat with a better battery and depth rating. There will probably be a few people who do one or two dives a year that this is super appealing to over a regular computer. This will hit Suunto, Aqualung (hard to know who has the greatest market share in entry-level DCs?) the hardest I assume. But on the plus side, will also presumably motivate Garmin/other wearable manufacturers to put diving functionality into more base-level computers, and may even encourage Shearwater to upgrade/add features to the Peregrine. All in all likely a good thing for the more hardcore scuba user base, even if the Apple Watch isn't appealing directly.
