I was planning on going on my first dive since getting certified, and of course the day that I was leaving I started to get sick. The place is only about 2.5 hours away, so I will go next weekend, but it never fails.

I just had to get that off my chest.

Much better to wait and not dive when you're not feeling well.

I missed months of diving this summer because first my wife had bronchititis, then I did. (wife doesn't dive but didn't want to leave her alone)

Hang in there, I got the flu in the Bahamas once, dove anyways, h---lll on the ears though. Another time in West Palm I got up in the night to get a drink and stumbled and hit the wall corner splitting my head open, five stitches and an argument with the dive master and I finally got in the water, it weren't bleeding much!
