I am looking for a neutral tech fins as Jetfins gets too heavy for me. I tried RK3HD fins, but I hated them because I feel that they were really floppy. Deep6Eddy's foot pocket did not really fit me. I am stuck on choosing between OMS Slipstream vs. DR XT fins. But I am afraid that Slipstream is not stiff enough.

Dive Rite XTs get my vote. They are a frequently go to tech fin that are much closer to neutral than jets and other heavier fins. I've been using them for years. I own three pair.

One addition. On just about every single charter here in South Florida, I see other DR XTs being used. I'm never (that I recall) the only one diving them.

Many fans of the GoSport Gorilla on this forum… I am yet to dive with the pair I bought, but others can chime in…

How do they compare to Slipstream? My biggest concern is that they are quite long.

Are you diving doubles or CCR? I found the regular RK3 fins to be too floppy, but the RK3HD were fine, albeit I have only used them on single tank dives. For doubles, I am like you, SP Jet fins or USD Rocket fins for the ultimate in a stiff blade.

Sorry, can't help you there. I've never used Slipstreams. I have used the DR XTs in caverns, caves and inside wrecks without any issue from their length. I've actually never given it a thought it's that big of a non-issue for me. YMMV.

Neutral weight with a stiff enough blade to work with doubles, powerful yet light weight; tough as there just aren't many options. DR XTs, maybe SP Go Sport Gorillas, go to several shops and see if you can test dive before purchase.
