My major at UF was Russian. I have found a language coach here in Orlando who wants to learn to dive: we are trading services! :D Vladimir thinks I am already ready and we have had only one session. He will be calling me daily and I plan on having dinner with him as well as one other session before I leave. He is a native speaker and quite tough on pronunciation! :D

Moscow is an awesome city, I was there for a week in September 2006 (using Delta Airlines buddy passes I received as a gift). It still cost my wife and I about $600 to get invited so we could aply for a visa, etc.
We stayed at the Hotel Ukraine and it was very nice and not unreasonably priced at all:

They have an observation deck on the top floor that's pretty cool. Besides Red Square, the Kremlin and all the common tourist places, I really liked ther Cosmonaut Museum. Of course seeing Napolean's cannons still there is pretty cool too :)
