Bikini and Johnston Atolls. They have a special significance to me as my dad was in both places working for a contractor when the bombs were set off. His company was hired to take nanosecond-precise photographs of the explosions. I still have a dozen or so 8x10's of many of them, unfortunately they're not labelled so I don't know what is what.
I'm also interested in the St Paul Island talk. It would be a cool roadtrip. 100 foot viz! Anyone know what the avg water temps are in summer?
