I've been playing around with an older Sony CCD-V9 camcorder and housing and have run into an exposure problem... I think. I'm shooting in very low viz conditions, less than 10' easily. Anyway, while diving it is fairly dark, however when I review the film, it looks like there is a huge amount of light coming from the surface so there is a lot of glare. Would this be the iris setting? My camera allows me to open and close the iris manually but the manual that came with the camera doesn't really cover iris adjustment.

Thanks,
Tony

You aren't talking about yesterday's dive out at the lake where viz was clear as a bell, are you? We wish! At least the weather was good. It's downright blustery today!

Hey, it was great to meet you and thank you so much for providing the o-ring for my inflator hose!
