Visited Venice beach last week. Had a great time collecting shark's teeth and other small fossils. Was snorkeling about 50 yards from the shore and came across this. Can anyone ID this for me?

I think your right. Looking at the pictures on google the size, color, and shape match. Thanks for the help.

That piece of a claw in your picture . It is a piece of a New England lobster claw . Someone was eating a lobster and threw it in the water . The above picture is a Dugong Fossilized Rib Bone (venice Florida) that I found this year.
