Need a fossil ID

Visited Venice beach last week. Had a great time collecting shark's teeth and other small fossils. Was snorkeling about 50 yards from the shore and came across this. Can anyone ID this for me?

That looks like the tip of a stone crab claw. (not a fossil)

I think your right. Looking at the pictures on google the size, color, and shape match. Thanks for the help.

My first thought was crab claw also.

Now on the other hand if you see one like this, you can probably hold out for 20k or so

Hi there
That piece of a claw in your picture . It is a piece of a New England lobster claw . Someone was eating a lobster and threw it in the water . The above picture is a Dugong Fossilized Rib Bone (venice Florida) that I found this year.
