Hey Everyone, I’m stuck in a sticky situation, I’ve been diving in Maui this week and heading to Oahu tomorrow. Paid for a dive and then emailed requesting DIN tanks which they replied they don’t do on charters..
(Even though 6 months ago I dived with them and they gave me an adapter).
Does any one a shop in Waikiki that sells the Din-Yoke adapter?
Or could someone lend me one for this week?
Who else dives DIN here and what companies have you dived with who have given you din tanks without issue?
Thanks friends!

Aloha!

I feel like I’ve seen one recently. Call Island Divers (808) 423-8222, and/or their sister shop, Honolulu Scuba Company (808) 220-0577. Island Divers may call them for you and get back to you.

Worst case scenario, send me a PM and you can borrow mine with a refundable deposit. It hasn’t been used in awhile so I’d save that for last option, but I can give it a quick cleaning and new o-rings...

Who are you diving with? And did you ask for the adapter, or just for DIN-compatible tanks?

Thankyou Joe, I have sorted it out, I am now diving with kaimana divers and Gabe is going to hook me up :)
