That's what we did. Go in over weighted and crawl / drag across bottom. Didn't know much about sea urchins then and got stuck several times.

I was supposed to do that last Saturday and then again this Saturday; both times the weather didn't cooperate. So I still need to give that a go. :14:

Darn anouther dive that I'll have to miss because of work. Seems like I'm missing all the fun.

Ok this is the anal rentative lawyer person in me coming out. :10: We panhandlers seem to be a fairly posty group. Could we have a general thread for the Panhandlers where we could put proposed dives, etc?

If this offends anyone, I apologize ahead of time.

Dixie Diver's have a subforum called "Looney Birds" for a group of Georgians that dive some of the lakes around Atlanta.

I don't see why we couldn't get our own little subforum, to keep from sifting through threads on central FL and the key's to find panhandle stuff?.?

I think its a good idea. Probably gonna hafta contact the admins/mods to get the ball rolling though. FL has enough active divers/posters in its different regions to make use of regional subforums.

Just SBMs dive reports alone could fill a subforum :D.

Bah!

So anyone wanna dive Cypress next Sunday? My Cypress thread isn't getting much action.

Where is Cypress?

Where is Cypress?
In Vernon. A little farther East than Morrison. Still within driving range but you need to boat to it, no land access. Very Beautiful spring and worth every paddle of the canoe ride.
