Tanks were so heavy and suit compression so extreme it was likely some non-compressible float to aid in buoyancy........

Yes I saw the video and was going to comment also.
Divers were using tripple tanks and NO weight belts,some had 1 or 2 balls to compensate for the weight at the begining of the dive.
