Hi. I' and my son are new divers. I'm 42 and he's 13. All because we were watching some divers fix some water cannons at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino on the discovery channel.
My son said, Dad Id like to do that.
I asked, What, build a water cannon?
He said, No, learn to dive.
A member of my grotto is an instructor and his wife a dive master.
After letting him discover scuba he was hooked.
Im so proud of him. He got a little nervous, panicked once but pulled through and did it.
We have a lot to learn and are looking forward to doing it together.
One question I had a hard time equalizing and a week later and my ear still feels muffled, like I have earplugs in. No pain though. Could this just be wax that was pushed by the pressure up against my eardrum?
