No problem....I havent sold any in Aussie Yet,
Mike

You never know your luck in the big city Mike  :D I might just have to be the first Aussie with them :D

I am in the states a bit with work so I will check them out when I am there, so sometime in the next couple months.

Out of curiosity have you used these in an open water class, in the pool sessions. As an instructor I can see some huge advantages for this.
I am just looking at that side of it.

So that is a question for you Dave, do you think these would be an added advantage to someone teaching?
Or even someone in dive rescue etc?

Well I’ve got about 30 dives on Omega's new flip fins.

They have worked out great for shore diving. Particularly at Catalina’s Casino Dive park where the entry is concrete steps. Beach entry turned out to be much easier as well. The fins have held up well, roughed up but still working good. No sign of wearing out or the hinge latch failing. They have become my first choice for local diving the California coast. They garnered great interest on a few boat dives as well. However, the only drawback is climbing a boat ladder or walking on a pitching, slippery deck with them on. I have resorted to using conventional fins for boat dives.

Overall, I would whole hardly recommend them for shore or beach diving.

Were those fins "comped" to you from a sponsor? :)

Ron

Nope. A sponsor had nothing to do with it. It just seems new stuff sometimes has a hard time getting traction. These fins do work. I have no affiliation with any sponsor, dive shop or advertiser. It is just my opinion.

Yep there are pics from Ice Diving on our site and the INstructor is wearing them. He loves them at the Quarry and pool. Its a great idea for rescue and easy to get in the water fast....

Robertarak here on SB was the first person I saw at the park with these fins. I know he really likes them. Glad you do, too, Dave.

Thanks for that info Mike.
