hoosier:
What is your casual shoe's size? I have one fin like a Jet fin.
It is Aqualung Capri Fin from Japan. My sister bought this fin in Japan and quit the divng because of new baby. I gave it to my GF, but she doesn't like a jet fin style, so I bought a twin jet fin for her... The size fits to lady's 6 and 6 1/2.

It is on sale in my "Closet clearance" thread...... On~~ it is black, not pink and no spring strap yet....:D
Come on, Hoosier, give 'em to her for free. She'll pay you back somehow down the road.

Hey Lynn, you can also try the Ranger boots from High Tide. They are very large, thick soled wet boots, which may work for you. I actually had to get smaller fins when I switched to diving dry because the shoes were smaller...

I have a pair of those henderson hyperstetch boots with sneaker like soles. The sole takes up allot of space and makes getting my jets on pretty hard (or off in a hurry), but there is absolutely no movement. Probably stretchy enough to fit over a drysuit sock. Worth a try if you can find them.

Thanks, everybody, for the ideas. I went and bought a pair of (hideously ugly but on sale) Converse hightops and they actually serve the purpose quite well. And, as they are not obviously connected to scuba in any way, they were cheap :)

So I won't be the only one sporting a pair of "Chuch Taylors" come Monday's dive eh?

Glad you found something that worked for you...

Aloha, Tim
