I made my first Pacific dive this morning with a couple of SoCal scubaboarders. Had a great time. At one point we must have had 10-15 sea lions buzzing us. I will post some picts on my website when I get the chance. My report is here if you want to read about it.

We were there just when they were old enough for their mothers to let them go out on their own. They would bite your fins, drop starfish on your head, incredibly playful.

The picts didnt turn out very good. The surge was about 4' and almost all of my picts are blurred. I posted 5 picts and some video though. For some reason the sea lion video doesnt play on my son's XP machine using firefox but plays fine on my iBook. I dont have time to look into it right now. The others play on both machines.

Looks like diving today is going to be cancelled, but I am headed out to meet some local folks hopefully.

I fixed the problem with the sea lion video and added five pictures from a dive today at the same spot. You can find a report on todays dive here.
