I am a bit concerned about DCS.

Please don't tell me I am stupid a whole bunch of times - right now I am looking for advice.

I dove yesterday.

All dives were on air

My first dive was a total of 11 minutes and the deepest was 72 feet. We were not able to find the reef we were looking for so we moved just a bit

There was only a 20 minute surface interval - then I went as deep as 92 feet for 23 minutes.

2.5 hours later I did 75 feet for 20 minutes.

1.5 hrs later I did 75 feet for 15 minutes.

All dives included slow ascents and the last three included safety stops.

My left elbow and shoulder aches. It has been 16 hours since the last dive. It started aching after the second dive.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

You were getting a bit greedy on dive two. I would put down your mouse and call DAN at 919-684-9111 without hesitation.

Consult DAN or a Hyperbaric Physician. DAN's an easy fix, as they will ask you some questions and refer you to the closest facility. Do it now.

I agree with HIGHWing. You had a pretty aggressive profile, and experiencing those symptoms warrants a call to DAN. Diving square profiles you went past NDL, but my guess is that your dives were not so square and possibly even within NDL. However, people have been bent before on such profiles.

Then again, you did do a lot of diving yesterday, and you might just have sore muscles from exerting yourself.

did you call DAN yet????

Yes, at the hospital now - probably chamber bound. Not too sure. I will report. Thx for the advice.

good luck.....hope all works out for you......

A little ? Assuming a square profile, my run on V-Planner shows that second dive would come with a 22 minute decompression obligation . . . (oh, and 84 cu ft of gas). . .

This is obviosuly a recreational dive and a square profile is pretty unlikely in this particular case. I ran all four dives in the planner using 30/85GF and determined he was a bit greedy on that second dive. I think what the OP didn't realize is the inert gas loading could not have washed out from the first dive enough to allow the second dive. If we could get the dive profiles, it would be interesting to see if the error could have been "fixed" on dive four by a long hang on air. I've seen a diver skip :20 minutes of deco, come up, go onto O2 for :90 minutes and walk right off the boat - no harm no foul. Just depends, I guess.
