Photograph Tiger Sharks in the Bahamas with Gregory Sweeney Jan 2012: Shark Image Gallery

These photos were taken while on a liveaboard trip to Tiger Beach Bahamas. I charter the boat each year and take a group of photographers. The pictures are great the diving is terrific with clear water, sand bottoms, lovely reefs, and a comfortable boat.

I use the 5D series because the cameras are lighter and smaller - important when chasing dolphins and sailfish. THis is also a good feature on land shooting wildlife and hand holding.

I used by wife's Nikon D80 as a pole camera I made myself from a painting pole, bike brake trigger, some kickboards as floats , and one custom machined part. It is difficult to get a good shot, but when you do it is really exciting!

I booked the boat again for Jan 2012 so if you would like to try this, contact me through my website.
