I hope Americans don't for one single second take that nonsense in Montreal to heart.
*First Americans should know that irregardless of our governments decision to not jump in and join our neighbors to the south thus making our country part of the "Axis of Weasels", The consensus around here and as of 2 days ago on the radio, people were calling in droves to denounce our governments decision not to help the U.S. Many called in slamming our prime minister. Some were outraged that he and his cohorts are not helping as we should . Obviously the majority in my neighborhood do not agree with our government.

*Also the idiots booing the U.S national anthem are anti American, but don't take it to heart because they are also anti Canadian Separatist’s cry babies who want to seperate but with out the rest of Canada couldn't change their own diapers.:upset:

O'Keefe's man! That's a Nova Scotian beer I recall.

You're thinking of Keith's. Good Stuff.

Carling O'Keefe? Red Cap, Black Label. Do they even make that anymore?

The actions of the folks at the Hockey game were unacceptable but I really think they were showing their unhappiness over the war and it wasnt really anti american people but anti american policy for the most part. ( they are quite different) There are many up here (myself included) who do not support this war in any way shape or form, however, once the first shot was fired we should all be praying for the safety of all those involved. With the exception of Saddam, I hope he gets a great big GBU in his lap.

Carling got bought out a number of years ago (15+??) by either molson or labatts.

The Red Cap reciept has been picked up by Brick Breweries and they are making it now in Waterloo Ontario - BTW, try thier "Waterloo Dark" it is a great dark with a picture of a warthog on the lable!

Somebody just picked up the Black Label ("Hey Mable"") line and I think that it will be coming out soon.

And yeah, I don't support the war... I personnally don't think that there has been enough justification made public. But I will support the troops (especially the treadheads!) and wish them godspeed and safe return.

But I can't justify disrespecting any national anthem......

and now back to beer!

Speaking of Carling, is John Bassett still living? I heard he had cancer a number of years ago, but I don't remember ever hearing if he had passed away.

BTW -- his daughter, "Darling" Carling, was a major babe! I wonder if she is still married to Robert Seguso?

John Bassett died in 86.

Yes she was cute. Amazingly enough - she is still married to Seguso and living in Florida. I think they have three kids.

Well,
At the game's in Edmonton Sat and Sunday, there was no booing of the national anthem.

Did anyone here Don Cherry on Coaches corner? He was great!!! Summed up the feeling of a lot of Canadians.
