Thats why they dusted "Bahgdad Betty" on the first day of bombing in '91, AFN (AFRTS) wasn't getting enough listeners.

I have a tendency to listen to a lot of classical music...could have to do with my degree being in classical trumpet. :)

Some of my favs:

Stravinsky, Rite of Spring
Barber, Adagio for Strings
Shostakovich, Symphony No. 7 (or any other one)
Beethoven, Symphony No. 7
Mahler, Symphony No. 1
Respighi, Pines of Rome

As for popular music, I listen to a lot of:
Blood, Sweat, and Tears
Dave Matthews
No Doubt

What to people have for range of musical tastes?

I'm sure Aaron's got us all beat; but let's see.

I listen to a range from Vivaldi & Hans Zimmer over to Buffett; bang a left around Enya & Clannad; cruise through Seven Nations; loop around to Mighty Mighty Bosstones and onto Brian Setzer and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy; stick around with Sublime; Long Beach Dub Allstars, Rustic Overtones, Blink 182, Green Day [etc], and finish off your trip burning rubber around Metallica, Pantara, Sabbath & Pennywise; and finally blow your head up with some Gwar, Strung Out & Shadows Fall.

And if anyone asks about Dixie Chicks; I'll be pleading the 5th.

Dave Matthews ranks up there...I also like Wakeland, The John Faye Power Trip, and Caroline's Spine..

Rob Zombie, Crystal Method, Linkin Park, Chemical Brothers, Kid Rock, Kruder Dorfmeister, and even Moby. :eek:ut:

But I'm not above the ocassional Travis Tritt, Toby Keith, and Tim McGraw. :D

...And I'll always have a soft spot for Dave VanHalen. :D

I do have all the DMB cds plus I have one from way back in the day. It's called Dave and the Metts. It's a 6 song EP. It's pre-DMB. I guess it's pretty rare considering anytime I bring it anywhere people offer me all kinds of stuff for it. You ever heard of it O-ring?
As for my range, I have anything from DMB, Jars of Clay, Barenaked Ladies to Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. Throw in some Miles Davis, David Benoit, Acoustic Alchemy, and a little Yellowjackets. Add a spot of Moby, Evanesence, Enya and some Enigma. For the classical I'll have to go with some Aaron Copeland, Gustav Holst (Mars the Bringer of War just rules!) and a little Wagner. On the country bit, Garth Brooks, Tim Mcgraw, and who could be without Toby Keith. Now for the older rock, Elton John, The Police, Jethro Tull, Hendrix and alot of Zeppelin. There is tons more but that would take forever to list.

And if anyone asks about Dixie Chicks; I'll be pleading the 5th.

It's ok Spectre, we won't tell anyone:D

SeaJay - I love your list of music! There is one song you should add: I come from the water, by The Toadies.
It's the perfect after dive song!

I have it downloaded - I can send it to you if you want!

O-ring once bubbled...
I also like Wakeland, The John Faye Power Trip, and Caroline's Spine..

Along with several other parts of Caroline's anatomy I'm sure!:D
