ok, this is for the computer wizzes out there ...

i want to grab a video from YouTube, but once I have it (which I can do), I want to convert it, or save it as, only an audio file (ditch the video).

so ... i download the YouTube video. save it to my computer.

now, is it actually possible to then save it only as an audio file so i can make a c.d. of songs i want?

thanks in advance

Did you download the video into your Windows Media Player? I've been trying to figure out how to do that.

no, you need a special program ... give me a sec

holy cow... i think that converts to mp3s too!

anyway... it's easy to use. you basically download the video, rename it to an .flv file, convert it, and you can save it, edit it, etc.

LOL I didn't even know you could do that. I was using Warez, if I heard something I liked in a movie I could find it there. Good thing its a snow day here now I can try to figure out how to use that prog. thxs andy
