We are going to Myrtle Beach during the second week of August, 2002 for a family vacation. My two sons and I are newly-certified and want to take a couple dive trips while we're there.

I've seen a couple good comments about Costal Scuba in North Myrtle but was wondering about two two shops in Murrell's Inlet, which is a lot closer to where we'll be staying.

One is called Mermaid Scuba and the other is Express Watersports. Has anybody had any experience with either? Good or bad, I'd like to hear your comments.

Also, for those that have dived the area, what dives do you recommend for newbie divers?

There are some reefs in the 35-40 foot range, but the wrecks seem to be 60 feet and deeper.

Like to hear from all you folks that regularly dive in the South Carolina region or those who have vacationed there.

Thanks
Rich :D
