While comparing the Sea Elite 10w and the Slimline 10w from DiveRite, I noticed that the Sea Elite has a MR16 reflector, and the DiveRite has a MR11. What do these numbers mean, and what are the pros/cons of each?

thanks!

Reflector size (maximum diameter) measured in 1/8th of an inch.

Sea Elite uses BrightStar's bulb, and it seems that BrightStar only makes them in 12 and 24 degrees variants.

Ah. Does this have anything to do with the 'tightness' of the beam produced?

bump.....

Also another question: You guys that have experience with HIDs, would you get the DR 10w non-adjustable, the Sea Elite 10w non-adjustable, or the DR 10w adjustable?

thanks

Hi,

MR16 and MR11 is the size of the reflector.

MR11 = 35mm diameter
MR16 = 50mm diameter
