@-JD- is way fancier than mine, but mine cost about $1.50 in parts and has held up for over a year. The 3D part is like .15 cents in material.

I have made 2 so far, this 1st one is PLA, it cracked but I saw it slowly happening over time. The newer one is PETG (which is the same stuff as water bottles). It's holding up really well, no stress or cracks at all in over a year.

For a while I was nervous so I had a compass on a bungee on my left arm that I would attach the boltsnap to, so no matter what I wouldn't lose the light.

Nice work!

Nice work!
Not my work.. found on Thingiverse. I just hit print and picked up some nuts and bolts.

Really like it though.

I'm all familiar with this offering. I'm asking for actual real world experience. If people found that the light can slide even when cranking down the zip tie, then it is a no go. I'm looking for information so that I don't spend money needlessly that doesn't meet my goal.

I'm just looking for solutions for existing lights that I have.
I'm surprised no one's mentioned razor's hand mount. One handle for all your lights...

This is scubaboard. You're not going to get the answer you want, you're going to be told what you need. :)

That should be part of the scubaboard banner!

I've never had any issues.

Not a traditional Goodman handle per se but this has worked great for me with bungee. I modified someone elses Bungee Goodman handle design to accommodate my Orcatorch D630. I see no reason you couldn't do this with a design like this and simply add either zip ties (which hold very well- especially with the use of bicycle inner tube as @grantctobin stated) or a stainless steel hose clamp.

I attached my lx20+ to a halcyon folding/hard Goodman. I had to slightly widen the mounting plate holes but it works well.
