Hes actually normally pretty civil and friendly, on or off the internet. This post seemed out of character to me, hence why I jumped in. Maybe hes becoming a real cave diverBugman you have probably the most abrasive internet personality I have come across. Have you considered getting your point across without being offensive?
All you need is a van or truck, an all black uniform, and an attitude.Nah, I don't have a pilots liscense or any automatic weapons - I think those are requirements before I get cave diver status.

My first time meeting Matt was going to Morrisons. I was fairly new at diving; an OW diver with zero experience in caverns. He offered to give me a tour of the cavern if I was comfortable. We discussed turning at thirds, made sure we had plenty of light, he ran a line, explained the entry and exit due to the flow, etc.etc. He is a great dude to dive with and as friendly as they come. I don't blame him for being offended by BS. It isn't required with Matt, he isn't a dive snob!...If he would have been straight up with me, I would have taken him on a little tour. Instead he lied and that kinda pissed me off.
I don't think she is stirring the pot. She is trying to explain the why for a caver'sbamamedic I see no point in instigating or stirring the pot. Everytime I view anything on this forum there is always sarcasm. What's the use in having a forum if it's gonna be like this?

passion against untrained divers in caverns and caves. Injured/dead divers in caves is not good. It can happen very fast. Regulations tend to be knee jerk and not well thought out. Just look at gun control.
