Well, it was pretty dismal. Either the rain had messed it up or the 100 divers in the basin kicking up sand. The water was bluish but very murky and near zero at the log. Cavern was clear of course but I forgot to charge my HID, so had to use a crappy backup. Still, I got wet, so that was fun. Heres some pics!

Thanks for the report, glad to hear the cavern was atleast clear enough to dive.
 
Well at least it looks like water levels are way down from Vortoberfest. The water at that time was completely covering the beach area and was covering the first two steps going up to the pier. After seeing your post I looked at the water levels for the Choctawhatchee river at they have risen again from the recent rain so Morrison is most likely gonna get hit again. Although, the levels are suppose to be back down to the 5 ft range by Oct 31st. http://ahps.srh.noaa.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=tae&gage=carf1&view=1,1,1,1,1,1
 
A friend of mine was there Saturday doing his check off dives. He said that there were alot of people there.
