Amphtrak was very nice, however, there was thousands of moon jellies floating around it around in the end of July. Was really nice.

That's a cool map! Think I might go do Del Monte Beach now. :) Anyone ever done both the amph track and the sailboat in one dive? Guess you'd need a lot of air for that. :)

Sarita, That looks about how far you're out if you go down at #6 at Breakwater, not too bad a swim. One of these days, I'm going to swim out to the barge. :)

WD,
That's how most people do it.... you don't really need that much air as they are really shallow (30 FSW). Hit the Sail boat, hit the tracks then head back in..... you'll still have ton's of gas.

Ashamed to admit that I don't think I recall having swum out to #6 at the BW. I am going to have to check that out. I am sure that I have for courses, but ... who knows. I will have to check that out.

In my defense - I am admittedly a REALLLLLLLLYYYYYY bad judge of distance.

a line, huh? I wonder if it would create a hazard to place another line down there? opinions?

Any guess on how the weather will be for a new diver like me? I do my ocean dives this Sat and Sun at break water...

I'm very excited but just a tad nervous or should I say aprenhensive?
