Hi,

Does anyone know of a resturaunt in Monterey that either has a seperate meeting room or a place where about 20 of us from Scuba Board can have dinner and view some video clips? On Oct 7th during the Meet and Greet at Pt Lobos, I plan on taking lots of video of those attending that event.

I know that Buzzard's by the Travel Lodge on North Freemont has that, but I'd like to explore another place if possible.

The restaurant at The Monterey Beach Resort has private meeting rooms and a great view of the ocean from the top floor. The food is not bad. The service is hit ot miss, though.

Oh..now they're calling themselves the Beach Resort Monterey and the restaurant is the Cafe Beach Restaurant.

Monterey Joe's is good food with a small room, if I remember.

Thanks for the leads, I'll check them out!

I'll have my projector and show the videos during dinner. I'm sure it'll prove entertaining!

Check with Beto, we stayed at some small hotel that had a resturant and big meeting room outback. People where very nice and we used it for class when I was there. And the food was pretty good too. Best, BOb

We had a dinner for AAUS (for about a hunderd people) at the Aquarium. They might handle smaller groups too.

Thanks, I'll get that info from Beto! Also, thanks for doing that doing that equipment tryout in the pool a couple of years back, that got me hooked on using a back plate adn it's been a whole lot of trouble ever since! :D

That would be treat, anyone have connections at the Aquarium?
You don't need connections, they do it routinely, call their "events" office.
