Thanks everyone. I'll never see the wheels again, but then again whoever took them will find they didn't steer well. My next pair will fit inside my kayak.

Pt. Lobos Thursday 1-15-15, Did two dives in Blue Fish Cove. Sunny and very warm topside, 56 degree water temp vis varied, starting out very good 35-40'. No wind but swells appeared to be picking up as the day went on and combined with low tide contributed to vis drop on the 2nd dive. Still very enjoyable!

So no wing on that plate. Was that a fiberglass or plastic plate?

Kind of like a white stag? Looks like he was diving a dry suit though, so some buoyancy device.

Mark,

Nice pics. What's that critter in picture 6? I got some video of one last week, but couldn't find it in my "critter" book. I assume a salp-chain or similar colonial critter?
It's salp ring. There are several different types, from some that form chains that are stretched out to some with chains that curl into a spiral, and some that form rings. I've seen some that are rings made up of several smaller rings. The day I took those photos at Breakwater, the shallows were almost jelly soup with millions of salps, comb jellies, and juvenile moon jellies. Next time conditions are like that, I'm going to try and get some photos of it. I also saw dozens of a type of comb jelly often called Venus Girdle, which I've seen before, but never ones that were almost 3ft long. They were hard to take photos of because they're completely transparent with only some features along their edges.

Still water cove 1/22.
30-40 vis at ~80 depth out by the peekaboo wash rock.
Nearer the cove it was more churned up but vis was still pretty good just higher level of particulates.
Dam nauticam housing leaked, so no camera on 2nd dive.

Great day to be out, hope the model is being pessimistic and dose not kick as much as predicted.
