I just don't log dives
fabulous conditions this week offshore the keys: sunshine, light winds and nearly calm seas(forecast looks terrific thru Monday). great visibility reported @ molasses reef the past few days and today was no exception. stayed shallow as we were joined by friends from ohio with a limited number of dives. #1: buoy M1(permit ledge/fire coral cave) followed by #2 @ buoy M9(caputos, winch hole/hole in the wall). blue water viz ranging 60-80+ FT, light tidal flow/current, water temp 76-77F @ 18-40FT. numerous large black/Nassau groupers, schools of various species, nice dives. pics from TIMG,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Very nice Tim

Really liked the 1st 2 pics; nice 'structural' shots. Placement with overhead sunlight coming down was very nice.

Richard.

After seeing photos like that how can anyone not want to learn to scuba. Great pictures!!!

Great shots Tim! Love the way you used the sun :D

Thank you CajunDiva. Won't be long until you are seeing the same spots!

Thank you Dnaber. We have a pretty nice backyard to play in here.

Beautiful pictures, as always. The photo of the Midnight Parrots is spectacular
Thank you scubadada. It's a bit unusual to see them under the ledge like that. They were coming through Fire Coral Cave while I was working on a shot of the goliath grouper that hangs out there.

Conditions have been great. I dove Mo on Tues, Permit Ledge & M10 Eagle Ray alley with similar conditions. A stunning spooted eagle ray was flying by multiple times and there where plenty of Nassau groupers as well. We saw a male nurse shark napping under a ledge on Permit Ledge while on his back showing off his junk :shocked:from the waist down. If I didn't have students I would've had a camera. Thanks for the photos TimG
