The oven trick does sound like it works. Damp Rid is just so convenient for me. I carry them all in the ziplock, along with some white paper filled munchers - blue until used, then blue again. My only fears are a ziplock breaking or a greenhorn customs officer getting too interested...
Customs would be my concern, too. Has anyone actually tried crossing either or both ways with the capsules in a bottle and drawn attention?
I am heading to Cozumel in April and will try them out. I really like the idea of medicine bottles but unsure of the customs risk. At this point I have quite a few so I might just use one per day or so, then bring them home to dehydrate.
YW, but they weren't my idea. Early in this thread I posted my failures with microwaving them. I forgot who mentioned Damp Rid. Good, cheap product. If I lived in a humid area, I'd probly buy it in bulk to protect more, but that's not a problem the Texas High Plains. Eh, I run a humidifier all winter.DannyDon
Thanks for the tip with the 'DampRid'..... works well!!
I now have very dark blue Moisture Munchers
